Angels and Demons film and book
The setting of “Angels and Demons” novel took place prior to the “Da Vinci Code.” However, the director of both films opted to make “Angels and Demons” as a sequel instead of a prequel. Both novels depict the story about a man named Robert Langdon. In “Angels and Demons,” Langdon was summoned to the Vatican City to conduct a probe on a murder case. The investigation leads the main character, Robert Langdon, to uncover the schemes of a secret society to kill four cardinals and destroy St. Peter’s Basilica during a papal election.
